The staff was friendly, and the room had a lovely decor, plus they provided a wake-up service which I appreciated.

The location was magnificent and incredible, just a pleasant stroll away from a Roman Catholic church. We found the staff affable and attentive.

The man on recpetion was charming! We asked him where the Launrdomat was, and instead he washed and dried our clothes himself! Our room was lovely (3rd floor, room 7) - we only had a washbasin, with the shower and toilet being on the 2nd floor, but I think we only shared it with one other room. The location is fantastic! There is a very good bakery a couple of doors up to get breakfast or lunch.

There is no handbasin in the toilet - so take hand santisier with you. Other than that - couldn´t fault this place!

The location of this place in the heart of the city was great.

Check-in was efficient. the room was huge and had a queen-sized bed with a very nice decor and a big sink. - the hotel is located near beautiful shops and the river. - It is within walking distance from La rue Port Neuf.

A rather idiosyncratic place! It is an old merchant's house above shops in the pedestrianised old town. The room had comfortable, clean beds and bedding. Only one sachet of soap/shampoo per person supplied - that covered a shower and so nothing to use when washing hands after using the tiolet. The door to the room needed attention as we could only shut it by slamming it! The breakfast was the traditional French one of bread, croissant, coffee and really jam. The staff very pleasant. I would recommend it with the reservations mentioned above.

We loved the locartion-in a narrow street of the old town, and very central.

We had to keep asking for the WiFi connection,which was switched off.

A lovingly-restored, hotel with a lot of character. Great location in the heart of Bayonne, 5 minutes from the bus stop that takes you to the airport and the beach in Biarritz.

Spacious rooms with a private WC and bathroom that are really big! the staff here are so friendly and nice 😊 the location is awesome, super close to the train station, which is so convenient.

Had comfort double room with double bed, a private WC plus internet. Amicable staff and management. Location adjacent to the cathedral, theatre/main bus stops and shops. For tea or coffee visit Sua Bonta nearby.

The location of Hotel Des Arceaux was amazing - so close to Biarritz markets and the center of Bayonne. I had a very good stay overall and liked my time in this place.

Friendly owners and excellent location. Room cleaned daily.

Poor internet access. Stayed for 5 days but only had wi-fi access on two occasions and both times for a short period only. Room (No.2) is small but adequate but be prepared for lots of noise from the street cleaners early each morning. Bathroom located at the end of the corridor needs a few hooks for hanging clothes, towel etc while showering.

I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel Des Arceaux. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were good value. Very lovely hotel in a beautiful area! The hotel is in the perfect location too! I would definitely stay there again!
